How Corre handles your data

Corre helps people discover running events, manage rewards, connect with the community, and access partner and marketplace features. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

We collect account details such as your email address, profile information, language preference, and optional photos you upload. If you enable them, we may also collect location data for event check-ins, camera access for QR scanning, notification tokens for alerts, and workout data you choose to share from Apple Health or Health Connect.

How we use information

We use your information to provide the app, authenticate your account, personalize your profile, verify event participation, manage rewards, operate subscriptions and marketplace features, provide support, and improve the product.

Payments and third parties

Payments are processed by Stripe. Core app infrastructure (authentication, database, storage, and server functions) runs on Supabase. Fitness activity integration uses Apple Health on iOS and Health Connect on Android when you grant permission. Weather data uses OpenWeather. Map rendering uses native map providers through our mobile mapping stack (Apple Maps and/or Google Maps, depending on platform). Some transactional emails are sent through Resend. Product analytics may use PostHog when enabled. Those providers process data under their own terms and policies.

Support channels

We currently provide support primarily through email and social channels listed in the app. We do not currently operate an always-on in-app live support chat.

Health data privacy

If you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, workout data is processed only for your own Corre experience, including run history, stats, and rewards. Corre does not sell health data, does not use it for AI or ML model training, and does not use it for targeted advertising. You can revoke access from your device settings at any time.

Sharing

We share data with service providers only as needed to run the app, process payments, provide support, secure the service, comply with law, or investigate abuse, fraud, or safety incidents. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

We keep data only for as long as needed to operate Corre and meet legal, tax, fraud, accounting, and security obligations. If you delete your account, we remove or de-identify personal app data unless some records must be retained for legal compliance.

Your choices

You can update profile details inside the app, change notification settings, manage linked services, and delete your account in the app. You can also submit an external deletion request at /account/delete.
